Starters for sharing

• Parmesan custard anchovy butter toast

Main event for sharing

• Roasted Creedy Carver duck  breast, gremolata, confit duck croquette, sauted greens. and orange reduction
• Maghmour aubergine and chick pea stew with pilau rice, toasted cashews and pomegranate - Vegetarian, Vegan
• Rosemary and garlic potatoes, shallots and field mushroom ragu 
• Roasted carrots and beets with ajo blanco dressing

Desserts for sharing

• Panna  cotta - preseved peaches - our pistachio biscotti 
• French apple tart - Calvados custard
• Ragstone goats cheese, pumpkin crackers and spiced tomato relish

How a Birland Feast works... We have seasonal menus for sharing which change every month. At our indoor pop-up venue, we have two large tables which each seat up to 12 guests comfortably. You can ask to reserve a whole table of 12 and otherwise you'll be enjoying your food along with other guests.  Our Feasts are gregarious, shared experiences where everyone gets to know each other over the love of well cooked local food, served in elegant bowls to share, with generous Yorkshire portions.

My cookery is heavily influenced by French, Italian,  Spanish and Southern Mediterrean food cultures, with some modern twists. I am big on great taste, on flavour, quality ingredients and local provenance. We don't do foams, pea shoots or whipped butter!  Vegetarians are catered for with equal gusto - just please indicate how many vegetarians are in your party when booking. Sorry, but we cannot cater for those with specific food allergies, due to nature of the event and kitchen, which is not allergen free. Menus subject to change due to availability of ingredients.

We ask you to be seated ready for service at 7 pm and we close up at 10 pm. If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know 48 hours before the event and we will offer you a full refund. After 48 hours, I am sorry but no refund is available. Details about parking etc. will be sent prior to the evening.
