Learn how to make fresh egg pasta from scratch in a workshop with chef Martin Swarbrick. You'll make different pasta eg pappardelle, tagliatelle, fazzoletti and a stuffed pasta. You'll also learn how to cook pasta and make simple pasta sauces and pesto. Lunch included.

About the event

This half day workshop, designed for just four people, includes lunch and is a mixture of hands on experience and demonstrations. You don't need to bring anything, as all the equipment and ingredients are provided, but an apron and Tupperware-type box to take home what you have made would be a good idea. Morning coffee and cake is provided along with a simple lunch: hopefully outside on our Mediterranean-feeling patio overlooking the garden! You will leave with recipes and the confidence to make your own pasta and pasta sauces at home.


We will cover:


  • Making fresh egg pasta dough and flavored pasta

  • Different types of pasta and flour

  • Using a pasta machine

  • Making ribbon pasta, shapes and filled pasta
