A very special Christmas Feast

Amuse bouche - Celeriac, potato and black truffle soup-gruyere straw

• Smoked trout watercress -chicory-pink fir potatoes - creme fraiche orange zest dressing

• Focaccia - extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic - sun dried tomato tapenade - cods roe - wild boar salami

• Grilled leeks and Stracciatella

• Sweet mama squash arancini - pecorino - Calabrian chili sauce 

• Gulworthy Ruby red beef rib eye tonnato with rocket and capers

• Roast duck breast rabalis spices - confit duck cassoulet - parsley and orange pistou

• Salt baked beetroot lentils, parsley, cavolo Nero - djon dressing

• Purple sprouting broccoli and roasted squash Sicilian salad

• Pomme dauphinoise

• Roast celeriac steak, preserved tomato and lentil ragu, pecorino and hazelnuts (pre-booked vegetarian option)

Desserts

• Pandorata  preserved apricot pudding with zabaglione  ice cream - Valrhona chocolate sauce

• Grappa poached pears - gorgonzola

• Pistachio tiramisu

Rumleigh Farm will be running a bar with a specially selected wine list from Sovereign Wines in Tavistock and also cocktails for pre-dinner drinks. Alternatively you can still BYO. This is a shared dining experience and you'll be sitting on a table for eight.

My cookery is heavily influenced by French, Italian,  Spanish and Southern Mediterranean food cultures, with some modern twists. I am passionate about great taste and big on flavour, quality ingredients and local provenance. We don't do foams, pea shoots or whipped butter! Vegetarians are catered for with equal gusto - please just indicate how many vegetarians are in your party when booking. Sorry, but we cannot cater for other specific diets or food allergies, due to nature of the event, the food we cook and the kitchen, which is not allergen free. Menu subject to change due to availability of ingredients.

If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know 72 hours before the event and we will offer you a full refund. After 72 hours, we can only offer a refund if we are able to re-sell your ticket(s). If you can't come at the last minute, please do let us know so we don't lay up a place for you. Details about parking etc. will be sent prior to the evening.
